Brrrrrr!

It is very cold in Melbourne today - with a big wind blowing too.

I was planning to start work in our garden today. It is an overwhelming mess (not being able to water much last summer didn't help), so I've decided to do a little at a time. That way we can avoid the it'll-never-get-done blues to an extent.

I've bought some little rosemary plants for the bed near the front door, and I want to plant, fertilise and mulch them properly, so they grow into a nice tough, aromatic, drought-tolerant hedge for us to enjoy as we come and go.

I've also bought some new sage, oregano and mint to plant in pots. Only the thyme survived last summer.

But it is far too cold to do any planting today. The Little Guy and I have taken to staying indoors instead.
