Target is right on

I've mentioned Target before, as a source of some delightful tea glasses. It can be a treasure trove of goodies, although normally I only find discount toys, children's knickers, and the means of fulfilling my endless desire for lipstick within its rather chaotic walls.

I have just returned from a very quick Saturday morning visit, and unearthed some real treasure.

It's not every day that your favourite designer sells its wares in Target. Australia now has its first 'Designers for Target' line (you can see the collection here). One of the three designers is TL Wood, a company which manages to design beautiful flattering clothes for people who aren't rail thin or under 35!

I tried on some of these pieces, and purchased a couple (the black spotty blouse is very pretty indeed). But how I wish dresses suited me. Alas, they do not.

Oh, and I picked up a copy of Possession, a DVD I've been wanting for a while, but didn't want to pay $29.99 for the pleasure of seeing Jeremy Northam play a tortured poet. $6.99 is much nicer, thank you very much.
